Police forensic experts are carrying out investigative procedures with the bodies of the victims. At least 18 people, including four children, are killed and dozens are injured in a massive Russian overnight attack on Kyiv that includes 598 Shahed drones, two Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles, nine Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles, and 20 Kh-101 cruise missiles. Rescue and search operations are continuing in the Ukrainian capital on August 28, 2025.
