The massive Dal Lake, bang in the middle of Srinagar, commands impressive views of both forested and snow-capped mountains. The river Jhelum, flanked by the Dal lake and intersected by canals, runs through the city and lends an idyllic charm to it. Snow capped mountains, romantic houseboats, sunny gardens, simmering lakes aesthetic beauty, rich culture, historical monuments and refreshing Kawah is what Srinagar overview is all about. The Zabarwan Range borders the central part of the Kashmir Valley in the east. Literally it is the mountain range between Sind Valley and Lidder Valley on the north and south, and between the Zanskar Range and Jehlum Valley on the east and west, respectively. Specifically the range is known to be what overlooks the Dal Lake and holds the Mughal gardens of Srinagar
