The Chestnut Bob butterfly species (Iambrix salsala) is belonging to the family Hesperiidae, known as skipper butterflies. It is found in various parts of South and Southeast Asia. This dark brown butterfly, distinguished by orange scales and a distinctive silver spot on its hindwing, is dwelling in forests, feeding on nectar from small flowers, and having a swift, short jerky flight pattern. It is often basking with its hindwings flat and forewings held perpendicular to its body. A small Chestnut Bob butterfly couple is enjoying feeding on lime flowers and is playing a role as a pollinator.
