Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse over India - 09/08/2025

September's full moon, known as the Corn Moon, is rising in the sky in Tehatta. As the total lunar eclipse, or Blood Moon, begins, a wall of clouds is rolling in and obscuring the moon, creating various textures in the sky during the eclipse in Tehatta, West Bengal, India, on September 8, 2025. The moon is being obscured by thick clouds for quite a while, making it difficult to capture due to the low light; it is only emerging for brief moments. In this partial phase of a lunar eclipse, towards the end, the Moon is slowly emerging from the Earth's penumbra.
