Igor Dodon, former President of Moldova (2016–2020) and leader of the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova, a pro-Russian and socially conservative party, is leading a small protest outside the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) in Chisinau, Moldova, on September 28, 2025, together with Vasile Tarlev, former Prime Minister (2001–2008) and head of the Future of Moldova Party, a left-wing populist and pro-Russian movement. They are alleging electoral fraud as votes are being counted in the 2025 parliamentary election.
