Supporters of the Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist) [SUCI(C)] are taking part in a protest march with effigies of U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu towards the American Consulate against the Israeli military offensive in Gaza and the detention of climate activist Greta Thunberg and others aboard a Gaza-bound aid flotilla. The demonstration is being held in solidarity with the Global Sumud Flotilla after its ships were intercepted by the Israeli navy in Kolkata, India, on October 7, 2025.
