An Assamese woman is lighting 'sakis' (lamps) in the paddy field as part of Kati Bihu in Nagaon district in the northeastern state of Assam, India, on October 18, 2025. Kongali Bihu, or Kati Bihu as it is commonly known, is deriving its name from the month of Kartik, which is traditionally known as Kati.
