A brightly colored juvenile Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (Halyomorpha halys) is hiding under a leaf in Tehatta, West Bengal, India, on July 2, 2025. Native to China, Japan, Korea, India, and other parts of Asia, the Brown Marmorated Stink Bug is causing significant economic damage to a wide range of fruits, vegetables, trees, shrubs, and agronomic crops such as soybeans and corn. Pheromone traps are commonly used to monitor its population.
