Shein is opening at BHV, the main facade of the BHV Bazar de l'Hotel de Ville in the Marais district of Paris, France, on November 5, 2025. The Chinese retail giant Shein is opening its very first physical store this Wednesday in the famous Parisian department store BHV grand magasin. Queues are forming outside the store to access the shop, and protests are erupting as Shein, already regularly accused of unfair competition, environmental pollution, and appalling working conditions, is embroiled in a scandal involving the sale of child pornography dolls.
