Former Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was found guilty of crimes against humanity related to the deadly crackdown on student protests last year, according to a verdict issued Monday by a special crimes tribunal. The court sentenced her to death in connection with the repression of demonstrators.
