It is feeding on toxic host plants like Ficus or Oleander, storing toxins for defense. This larva is being a pest of plants in the Apocynaceae, Moraceae, Ulmaceae, and Fabaceae families, mainly feeding on leaves and buds, leading to defoliation, in Tehatta, West Bengal, India, on November 12, 2025.
