2000 year archeological site preserved inside a hotel in Antakya

The The Necmi̇ Asfuroglu Archaeology Museum is an ancient archeological site preserved within a hotel in Antakya, Turkey. During construction of the hotel archaeologists have discovered what may be one of the world's largest intact tile mosaic floors, spanning over 9,000 square feet, alongside building remains dating back approximately 2,300 years. The floor features nine adjacent panels decorated with diverse geometric patterns in various colors, with the largest mosaic believed to have belonged to a 6th century public building, possibly a governmental structure according to expert Pamir. no
