Relatives bid farewell to departing pilgrims ahead of the annual Hajj in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India, on April 18, 2026. The first batch of 435 pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir sets out on the sacred journey of Hajj to Mecca. This year, a total of 175,025 pilgrims from India will perform Hajj, including 4,704 pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir.
