Umit Ozdag, leader of the Turkish nationalist right-wing Victory Party (Zafer Partisi), inaugurated the party's new provincial headquarters in Izmir today. Following the opening ceremony, Ozdag held a comprehensive press conference to share his assessments on current domestic and international political agendas. During his speech at the inauguration, Ozdag reacted to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen's statement, "We must succeed in completing the European continent so that it does not fall under Russian, Turkish or Chinese influence."
