A number of workers who are members of the Trade Union rallied in the Batam city government area ,on March 02, 2020. They reject the ratification of the Employment Copyright Omnibus Bill because workers claim not to be involved in the deliberation of the bill and its contents are considered to further reduce workers' welfare by eliminating the obligation to pay severance, abolishing the role of trade unions, the easy lay-off of workers and the imposition of wages based only on working hours
