The remains of the Sweepstakes lie in Big Tub Harbour, in the Fathom Five National Marine Park, in Tobermory, Ontario. Tobermory, Ontario, is the shipwreck diving capital of Canada, featuring over 20 historic heritage vessels located within Fathom Five National Marine Park.
