The Presidential Palace (Presidence De La Polynesie Francaise) in Papeete, Tahiti, French Polynesia, on May 8, 2026. The Presidential Palace houses the Presidency of French Polynesia and was built in the year 2000, inaugurated by the then President, Gaston Flosse. Before being rebuilt, the building was formerly Broche Barracks, a military camp built by the colonial administration to house military and administrative services in 1885.
