A demonstration in support of the occupied Oleshky and all Ukrainian territories where people are suffering because of Russian occupation is taking place in Brussels, Belgium, on September 28, 2026. Around 6,000 residents, including 200 children, remain in Oleshky and the surrounding communities without access to territory controlled by Ukraine. They have no possibility of leaving safely. There is a lack of water, food and medicine. Instead — drones in the sky and mines on the ground. The protest, together with an artistic action, is taking place during a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council, during which, among other things, military support for Ukraine and European security will be discussed. The protest aims to call for concrete actions, such as demanding that Russia open a humanitarian corridor and carry out the evacuation of the civilian population.
