Police and sappers are seen at a construction site in central Warsaw, Poland, on October 7, 2026. Workers of the Strabag construction company alert authorities after an object is found after stripping asphalt. Because the area is historically a World War 2 combat area, deminers are called in to handle further exploration. Despite the object found resembling a large bomb, it appears to be a 19th century triangulation station which will now be included as a historical artifact in the national museum.
