Smoke from forest and land fires covers the sky above Lhokseumawe City, Aceh Province, Indonesia, on October 15, 2026. According to a report from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) Sultan Iskandar Muda Class I Meteorological Station, based on satellite imagery monitoring, several cities in Aceh are starting to be covered in haze which is thought to be caused by forest and land fires in several regions of Indonesia.
