At approximately 6:55 pm, police respond to a 911 call for an assault inside 95-24 110 Street and find the girl unconscious and unresponsive. EMS transports the child to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where she is later pronounced dead. The office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
