The city of Barcelona is closing the beach from 8pm on Tuesday until 10 am of the following the day for preventing assemblages of people for preventing the diffusion of coronavirus, during the eve of Sant Joan. Sant Joan is celebrated on the night of June 23 long into the early hours of June 24, and is Catalonia’s biggest nocturnal festival of fire and food.
