Since July 10, 2020, people of over 59 countries will exempt to self-isolate upon arrival in England. Most travelers arriving in the country, even national citizens, had been forced to quarantine for two weeks since early June. The Transport Secretary has published a list of countries where the Government has abandoned its quarantine policy. Spain, Germany, France and Italy are on the list of countries that will be exempted from quarantine. The list will be reviewed regularly and is based on epidemiological numbers. Countries such as the United States, Canada and Portugal were excluded from the list and people arriving in England from a country not on the list will continue to be required to self-isolate for 14-days
