France to impose public mask-wearing

The use of mask in public places becomes mandatory in France. French Prime Minister Jean Castex, explained today in Parliament that the measure will enter into force from next week and no longer from 1 August, as initially stated. The measure will have to be observed in all indoor places, such as shops, hotels, banks. France has reported a total of 173.304 coronavirus cases with over 30.000 deaths.
