WHO reports record daily rise in new coronavirus infections

The World Health Organization has recorded another daily peak in global cases of coronavirus. The new infections in the world were at least 284,196, a number that could increase in the coming hours because not all countries have updated their Covid-19's cases. The deaths were 9,753 for a total since the beginning of the pandemic of 628,903. The previous highest daily leap in new cases was 259,848 on July 18.
