The Château de Courances, located 47 kilometers south-east of Paris in the Essonne department, has been classified as a historic monument since the 1983. During World War I, the castle housed an 80-bed hospital. The 75-hectare park, considered one of the most beautiful in France, was started in the century by the Clausse and completed by the Gallards in the middle of the century. Courances, July 26th, 2020.
