A Forest fire started in the location in Balcova town, in city of Izmir which is the 3rd metropolitan city of Turkey on July 30, 2020. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli and Izmir Metropolitan Municipality conducted the crisis and kept the fire under the control within 5 hours. 9 helicopters, 1 plane, 48 water trucks, 7 first responder vehicle and 6 dozer were attended to the well-done operation.
