SWAB test along with rapid test was conducted by health workers of Goverment of West Bengal for the staffs of Kolkata Municipal Corporation and other essential service workers as COVID-19 continues to spread rapidly in the city. India has already crossed over 1.7 million cases till date , with over 38,000 deaths till now. The Indian government has establishes antigen and swab testing centers in number of metropolis of the country to detect and isolate the active cases , as they fear that community spread of the virus has already begun.
