On Friday, August 21, 2020, several hundred demonstrators gathered at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn and marched across the Brooklyn Bridge as a vigil "March for the Dead" to all those lost to the COVID-19 pandemic. Organizers include Rise and Resist, the New York Immigration Coalition, NYC Against Coronavirus, and the Center for Popular Democracy.
