Rohingya Migrants Dies in Temporary Shelter in Aceh
Officers carry out the funeral for Rohingya migrant women who died in a shelter at the Training Center Building (BLK), at the Public Cemetery (TPU) in Lhokseumawe, on September 9, 2020, Aceh Province, Indonesia. According to local official reports, a Rohingya migrant woman, Nur Khalimah (21), died after being hospitalized with symptoms of shortness of breath or pneumonia. A total of 296 Rohingya migrants, consisting of 104 men, 178 women and 14 children, were stranded in the Ujong Blang Lhokseumawe beach area before the early hours of September 7, 2020.
