Maryam Rajavi, the President elect of the National council of the Resistance of Iran (NCRI) commemorating the anniversary of 1988 massacre of 30,000 political prisoners in Iran in Tirana, Albania, on 19 August 2017. The massacre occurred after a decree by the then supreme leader Ruhollah Khomeini stating any political prisoners who remain loyal to the PeopleÕs Mojahedin Organisation of Iran(PMOI/MEK) must be executed. Many members of the People's Mojahedin of Iran(PMOI/MEK) in Albania also participated in this ceremony.
