Strong earthquake hit Turkey's Izmir and Aegean Sea on October 30, 2020. Kandilli Earthquake and Research Institute announced earthquake with a magnitude 6.8. According to the other foreign sources it hit with a magnitude 7. It had felt strongly also around of Izmir and Greece. Izmir mayor Tunc Soyer said tweny buildings had collapsed in the province. Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said six buildings had collapsed in Bayraklı and Bornova districts. Seferihisar district had alarmed for tsunami and flooding. AFAD- Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency sent their team to the zone. Many people panicked and they left buildings and went out to the streets.
