Poland to impose national quarantine after Christmas

People are seen waiting at a bus stop on Czerniakowska street in Warsaw, Poland on December 19, 2020. Minister of Health Adam Niedzielski this week announced a national lockdown starting three days after Christmas. Until January 17 shopping malls, hotels and ski slopes will be closed to prevent further spread of the coronavirus. Poland has struggled to contain the spread of the epidemic since the start of the school season.
