The upscale Belvedere restaurant is seen in the Royal Baths park in Warsaw, Poland on January 31, 2021. Recently online newspaper EUobserver revealed that in 2015 the EU border security agency Frontex spend 94 thousand Euros on an annual dinner party at the Belvedere restaurant. The agency's budget has increased by almost a hundredfold since in 2005 when it's funds totalled 6 million Euros compared to the current 500 million Euros.
