About a hundred people gathered at the state run television TVP Info headquarters in Warsaw, Poland on February 10, 2021. Wednesday all national broadcasters and their websites went off air and off line for the entire day to protest against newly introduced tax laws. The taxes which the government says are needed to support culture and healthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic will unfairly and disproportionally burden foreign owned media critics say.
