According to the World Health Organization (WHO) statement, only 10% of the European population has received one vaccine dose, and 4% has completed a full vaccine series. WHO's Regional Director for Europe, Dr. Hans Henri P. Kluge called on governments to "speed up the process by ramping up manufacturing, reducing barriers to administering vaccines, and using every single vial we have in stock, now."
