France enters a third lockdown since the start of the pandemic

After the speech by the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron and the presentation of the measures in Parliament by the government of Prime Minister Jean Castex, France officially enters on 3 April, 2021, a third lockdown since the start of the pandemic. The restrictive measures, in addition to the exceptional closure of schools for three to four weeks, include a nationwide curfew starting at 7pm, which was already in place in Ile-de-France and 18 other departments. On the streets of Parisl, gatherings of people theoretically forbidden in public space alternate with a deserted atmosphere that gradually sets in between 7 and 8pm.
