A 13 August 2017 press conference held at the Charlottesville City Hall in Charlottesville, Virginia, led by “Unite The Right” organizer Jason Kessler was cut short just minutes after he took the stand to react to the unfolding of events after the Unite the Right rally turned violent and resulted in the death of a counter protestor. Angry leftists choose violence and aggression over freedom of speech and did not give him a chance to say his say. The press conference was cancelled amongst angry and hateful onlookers turning more aggressive. Police were present and escorted him off the premises.
