A magical quiet night without the usual crowd of tourists in the historical Dutch town of Middelburg, capital of Zeeland province. Illuminated view of the canalside houses, twisty alleyways, the famous Gothic style architecture Town Hall Stadhuis, the Abbey Tower "Lange Jan", Achter de Houttuinen, Market square and more. Middelburg was once one of the trading cities of the VOC the Dutch East India Company, making the city a popular tourist destination with many attractions as you're like travelling back in time as you wander through the old town centre. Due to the Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic, travel is not easy, so there are not many visitors and the night curfew is still applied after 10 pm in addition to the closed cafes and restaurants as a safety measure against the spread of the virus.
