One day after the jury acquitted the cop who shot and killed Philando Castile back in 2016, hundreds came together on 18 June 2017 in Harlem, New York to march in protest to the court’s findings and in honour of the victim. The march was organised by Hawk Newsome from Black Lives Matter, who spoke with other demonstrators at the event.
