Indian forces remain alert near the encounter site, Seven Kashmiri militants were killed in two different gunfights with Indian Forces in Indian Administered Kashmir on 09 April 2021. Five Militants were killed in Shopian district and Two in Tral district South of Srinagar. Four Indian troopers also sustained injuries during the gunfight. A mosque was also damaged in the army operation.
