A major fire broke out in a multi-storied wholesale Bagree market, at Burrabazar in the early hours on Sunday, on September 16, 2018 in Kolkata, India,. A fireman has been injured in an ongoing firefighting operation in a six storied building with over 400 shops in it in Kolkatas Canning Street ten hours after it started early Sunday. Thirty five fire engines have been deployed to put out the blaze.
