The sound of a siren kicked off in Rome, at the Portico d'Ottavia, during the vigil in solidarity of the people of Israel after the launch of missiles by Palestine. The event was attended by a few thousand Romans as well as the leaders of the major parties from the centre-left to the centre-right.
