Polish MEP Robert Biedron on Monday made a statement in front of the Belarusian embassy in Warsaw with regards to the detainment of journalist and NEXTA co-founder Raman Pratasevich. Biedron called for diplomats in Belarus to support the opposition there and that the EU should impose sanctions against the country. Stepan Putilo, founder of NEXTA said in his statement he has received numerous threats since yesterday and that he fears he might be the next victim.
