More than of 1800 Covid-19 victims were buried at the Rorotan Public Cemetery, North Jakarta, which is divided into four grave blocks. This number is an accumulation since this cemetery was opened as a special Covid-19 cemetery two months ago. According to the manager of Rorotan Public Cemetery, more than of 100 victims were buried on daily basis. Until July 7, 2021, the government announced of the deaths rate due to corona virus had touched 1,000 victims within one day, and the total number had reached 62,908 victims since the pandemic entered Indonesia.
