Thai anti-govt protesters clash with police

Anti-government protesters react as police fire tear gas at the during a march on the road to prime minister's house in Bangkok, Thailand, 07 August 2021. Hundreds of demonstrators took part in a protest against the government at the Democracy Monument. They moved near the prime minister's house to press their demands for the Thai prime minister to resign after a state of emergency was declared to control the coronavirus pandemic in the face of a wave of COVID-19 cases.
