A protest was held on 30 September 2021 against the Amazon headquarters in the municipality of Vigonza in the province of Padua. About 160 couriers received an SMS on September 29th, informing them of the imminent change of their workplace from the municipality of Vigonza to one of the new establishments just opened in Veneto between Vicenza and Riese. The trade associations CISL and UIL, as well as the CGIL have rushed to support the protest of the couriers.
