Hundreds of demonstrators gathered at the Pulitzer Fountain in New York and marched to Times Square calling on various clothing companies to stop selling fur clothing on October 9, 2021. Stores they stopped at during the demonstration included Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Moncler, and Dior. Protesters also called on Mayor Bill de Blasio to eliminate horse carriages from the city.
