Activists of All Assam Students' Union (AASU) make a human chain to protest against the Assam government's proposal to cut more than 5000 sal trees, at Doboka in Hojai district of Assam , India , Oct 27, 2021. The government is planning to cut these trees for a four-lane road project. The students' union demanded a rollback of the proposal to construct the highway. Locals also suggested that the highway be shifted to the grazing land only about 200 meters from the forest.
