Several hundred people protested against the state emergency imposed at the border with Belarus in Warsaw, Poland on 06 September 2021. Hundreds of protesters marched from the Sejm, the parliament building to the Prime Ministers office and back with metal wire symbolising the concertina wire fence built at the border to stop migrants pushed-over by Belarusian forces. Demonstrators want an end to the illegal push-backs by Polish border guards and a lifting of the state of emergency at the border which forbids all media and non-residents from visiting the 3 kilometre wide strip along the border with Belarus.
